IIT Guwahati Recruitment [Part-Time Performing Arts Instructors (Contractual)]
IIT Guwahati Recruitment: Applications in prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for three temporary posts of Part-Time Performing Arts Instructors with the following details :
Part-Time Performing Arts Instructors (Contractual) – 03 Posts
[1 Hindustani Classical Vocal Music; 1 Hindustani Instrumental Music & 1 Indian Classical Dance]
Tenure: During 2019, for the period of January 2019 to April 2019 and August 2019 to November 2019. May be extended for another period subject to satisfactory performance.
Remuneration: Consolidated salary up to ₹25,000/ per month for the employment period mentioned above based on qualification and experience.
Minimum Qualification and Experience – Bachelor’s degree in respective fields from recognized Institutions / Universities with specialization in one or more of the following specialized areas.
Specialized Areas : Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, Hindustani Instrumental Music (Violin) and Indian Classical Dance (Sattriya).
Desirable : 1 year working experience in the respective area. Experience of working with students’ of Academic Institution will be given weightage.
Age Limit: Below 35 years.

Probable date of display of short-listed candidates for interview: 21.12.2018
Probable date of interview: 27.12.2018
Mere fulfilment of the minimum qualification will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for interview.
The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof and also to re-advertise the posts if no suitable candidates are found. Decision of the Institute will be final and binding in this regard.
Candidates will not have any claim for a regular appointment in the Institute on the strength of this temporary appointment.

Institute like ICCSR, Sangeet Natak Academy etc. in one or more of the above-specialized areas.Desirable : 1 year working experience in the respective area. Experience of working with students’ of Academic Institution will be given weightage.
Age Limit: Below 35 years.
